In a move that has been anticipated for weeks and that was officially reported last week as agreed upon, Arjen Robben signed his new extension this morning in Munich. The contract extension runs through the 2018-2019 season.
It’s official: Arjen Robben will stay at FC Bayern for at least another season. Two days ahead of the DFB Cup final against Eintracht Frankfurt, the 34-year-old Dutchman signed a new contract with the German record champions to 30 June 2019.
Robben joined Bayern Munich in August 2009 form Real Madrid. In his time with Bayern, Robben has won the Bundesliga championship seven times and the DFB Pokal four times. Robben’s most notable moment during his time with Bayern was when he scored the game winner against Borussia Dortmund in the 2013 Champions League final at Wembley Stadium.

Robben is excited to be back in red next season and ready for it to begin.
Basically, I’d already like to get started on the new season, to be honest. It was really, really painful, it really did hurt and still hurts now, that I had to go off in the Champions League semifinal and missed the second leg. It hurts. So next season I’ll once again give everything I’ve got so we have a good season, and hopefully I can be an important part of the team.
