It’s hard to believe that Saturday is the final game of the 2017-18 season for clubs throughout Germany. Bayern Munich and Eintracht Frankfurt will complete the season-long journey to Berlin with a trophy on the line. Which team will walk away winners from the 2018 DFB Pokal Final?

Bayern have clearly had the more difficult trip to the Final including wins against RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund, and Bayer Leverkusen. Those victories including a 6-2 blowout of Leverkusen in the Semifinals. Bayern marched to the Final with a determination rarely duplicated in Germany.

Frankfurt’s most impressive win in the lead up is unquestionable a 1-0 victory over Schalke. Beating the second place team in the Bundesliga is certainly worth bragging about; however will that be good enough to topple Bayern? Frankfurt have definitely struggled in the final matches of the Bundesliga season.
