Milos Pantovic, a 21-year old Serbian forward who spent this season with Bayern Munich II, has decided to moved on to VfL Bochum 1848 of 2.Bundesliga on a free transfer. Pantovic had a very productive season for Bayern Munich II with 12 goals and 11 assists in the Regionalilga Bayern. Pantovic has played primarily as a wing, but also has experience as a center forward.

With both Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery re-signing with Die Roten last week and Serge Gnabry expected to return from a loan to Hoffenheim, Pantovic would have had a hard time breaking into the roster at either wing spot. Similarly, Pantovic would have had an equally difficult time breaking into the Bayern lineup at striker or attacking midfield, where there is currently great depth.
Bochum finished its season in sixth place of 2.Bundesliga and should offer Pantovic immediate playing time on the first team and a good chance to make an offensive impact should he be able to break into the starting lineup.
