Speaking on the contract, the youngster is thrilled with the opportunity and is ready to give back to the club that’s already given him so much:
It’s a great honour for me to be given this chance at FC Bayern. I want to continue learning in the next few years and repay the club’s faith in me with good performances.
Sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic is confident that Evina can continue to grow and develop into a top talent with the club:
Franck is a quick attacking player who has great athleticism. We’re happy to have signed him long term and we want to continue his good development.
The news comes just hours after it was announced that both Arjen Robben and Rafinha signed one-year contract extensions for Bayern, in addition to Franck Ribery, who signed an extension just a few days ago.
Evina follows in the footsteps of 19-year-old Meritan Shabani, who also signed a two-year professional contract with Bayern this week. This week, packed full of contract signings, has stuck a solid balance between the old guard and new, up-and-coming talent!
