As if there were not enough injuries to deal with, Thomas Müller picked up a knock on his ankle and did not practice today. Müller only ran during the morning session as detailed in the video below that was captured by Bild. In what seems like a never ending stream of banged up players, Bayern Munich will have to dig deep to cover all of the spots that could be open for Saturday’s game against Eintracht Frankfurt.

In addition, James Rodriguez also was held out of the practice session due to an undisclosed ailment and only worked in the fitness room; which raises the question of just how many players at Bayer are actually healthy right now?

Heynckes: “Müller took a knock on the ankle, so today he only did running. James also has a booboo and therefore worked upstairs in the fitness room.”
Given that Bayern has already enlisted the services of three reserves, it may be time for Jupp Heynckes to make sure this man below is suited up and ready to go just in case. While his off-the-field choices may be questionable, he always bring his “A-Game” to the pitch.
