The Bundesliga may be (mathematically) over, but fret not, my friends! Bayern Munich still has a few games left. Even though we have a cup game against Bayer Leverkusen in midweek, and a crunch game against Real Madrid soon after that, the Bundesliga still has its uses.
There’s really nothing left to play for, so this game against Borussia Monchengladbach should just be an opportunity for Jup Heynckes to give the squad some rest. Expect almost everyone who started against Sevilla in midweek to be rested, with guys like Corentin Tolisso and Sebastian Rudy being given a chance to shine. These are the games where Bayern’s gargantuan squad depth comes into play — we can afford to rest almost everyone on the team and still come out swinging.
It’s Bayern time.

Tips for commenting:
- If you’re a new member, feel free to introduce yourself. Don’t feel pressured or anything, we’re
mostlyvery friendly. Also, we’re from all parts of the world so don’t feel shy if you’re from a country that doesn’t seem represented on the blog.
- Refresh the page regularly to keep up with the discussion. One refresh every 55-60 seconds is ideal but if that’s too much then just try for one every five minutes and after every goal.
- The goal celebrations are for everyone to participate in. Even if you’re lagging behind the others, keep replying to the most recent call of the player’s name. Even if you missed the first call, just start from the second, and so on.
