Here we go again! Bayern Munich have learned the identity of their semi final opponents as the Bavarians drew Real Madrid on Friday. The draw took place at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

Zinedine Zidane's side reached the semi finals by beating Juventus 4-3 on a nail biting quarter final performance. Juventus made a three goal comeback, only to be unfairly denied a chance to go to extra time by a dubious penalty. Bayern will recall a similar situation from last year, when Carlo Ancelotti’s men were done in by some questionable officiating in the quarter finals.

Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have an unpleasant history with each other, going back many years. The Germans have come face to face with the La Liga giants in the semi finals 6 times before, with both teams winning 3 matches each. The teams have shared several players over the years, with the most recent being James Rodriguez, who made the switch from Madrid to Munich last summer.

The first leg of the semi finals will take place at the Allianz Arena on April 24th and the return leg will be played on May 1st at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
