Thomas Muller scored an amazing goal for Germany in the first half of their friendly match with Spain. As Germany pushed forward on the attack, Sami Khedira found Muller lurking just outside Spain's penalty box. Muller looked up, saw a sliver of space, and fired the ball clear across the box into the top left corner of the goal, just beyond the reach of David De Gea.

The goal flew in under the nose of Müller's teammate Thiago Alcantara, who was helpless to stop it. Müller's strike marked a significant shift in momentum, after Germany found themselves outplayed early in the match, conceding an early goal to Rodrigo Moreno off a brilliant assist by Iniesta. Müller's goal leveled the score at 1:1, which remained the score at halftime.
