Per a report on Kicker, Bayern Munich has interest in 18-year old Portuguese right-back, Diogo Dalot.
Dalot, who typically features for FC Porto’s second team, made his first team debut in October and is regarded as one of Portugal’s top prospects. The primary issue with Dalot, however, is the reported 20 million Euro value that is expected as his transfer fee. For a depth move, that may be too high even for the deep pockets of Bayern.
With Rafinha linked to both a return to Brazil or a stint with Valencia, and Juan Bernat reaching a crossroads within his career that probably requires more field time or a retreat from Munich, Bayern could be seeking a depth move.
As recently as last month, Bernat was reportedly coveted by Everton. The oft-injured, yet talented Bernat would likely be an attractive target for several La Liga or Premier League sides if Bayern makes him available. In addition, as discussed previously, Sebastian Rudy could provide depth as a fullback when required.
