After a turbulent Summer transfer window, Polish striker Robert Lewandowski talked about his future with Sport Bild and can see himself finishing his career at Bayern. But he has one wish for Bayern Munich.

For me it is definitely an option — to finish my career at Bayern. I’m not thinking about a transfer. I admit it: in summer, other things were an issue, but that’s over now.

He continues furthermore:

It’s very possible that I’ll stay here [at Bayern] for a long time. I fully identify myself with Bayern. I feel that, since all the rumors and problems are off the table, I am wholeheartedly with Bayern. 100 percent.

It seems that finally, Lewandowski’s focus is just at Bayern, but he has a wish for Bayern and it is about future transfers (Sport1).

I think it’ll help us more when one or two top players come, rather than five people at a moderate level.

A major squad reconstruction awaits Bayern after this season. Arjen Robben and Rafinha already announced their departures at the end of the season and probably the same goes for Franck Ribery. And there are others who will probably leave Munich. It will be interesting to see whether Bayern grants Robert’s wishes.
