Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic is reportedly on the move to Chelsea next summer. The Premier League side will allegedly pay a sum of €50M (£45M) to procure the American star. The two teams, however, have supposedly not formally agreed on a final fee, which could throw some complications into the deal.

Per a report by SportBild that was captured by our sister site, Fear the Wall, Pulisic will move from Germany to England next summer.

Bayern Munich, of course, was long rumored to be one of the potential destinations for the Hershey, Pennsylvania, native. With a keen eye toward making a bigger impact in the North American market, Pulisic looked to be a perfect fit for the ever-enterprising front office of Bayern. With this latest news, however, any plans toward that end appear to be coming to a close.

Chelsea, along with Liverpool, have been considered among the leaders to land Pulisic, but the talks have apparently escalated over the past two weeks to push the American to Stamford Bridge. Bayern, meanwhile, seems to have shifted its focus to Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz.
