Bayern and Juventus are the leaders to land Aaron Ramsey (Talk Sport)

Bayern Munich and Juventus are considered the front runners to bring in Arsenal man Aaron Ramsey. The salary demands for Ramsey are pretty outrageous, though.

Bayern Munich and Juventus are prepared to battle it out for Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey, according to reports. The Wales international will leave the Emirates this summer after a contract offer from the Gunners’ board was rescinded in September.

Liverpool and Manchester United have been linked with sensational swoops, while Paris Saint-Germain, Inter and AC Milan are also said to be interested. However, according to Calcio Mercato, Juventus have moved ahead of their Serie A rivals with a whopping £9million-a-year offer. The £9m salary equates to about £175,000-a-week – less than the £200,000 deal he had agreed with Arsenal before the Gunners pulled the plug in September.

But Bundesliga champions Bayern believe they can beat the Italian giants to the signing of the 27-year-old. Bayern boss Niko Kovac is keen to bolster his midfield to provide competition for Leon Gotetzka, Thiago Alcantara and James Rodriguez. Both clubs can make a move for Ramsey next month and sign the midfielder on a pre-contract agreement.

Telekom Cup details announced (AZ)

Bayern will be joined by Fortuna Düsseldorf, Borussia Mönchengladbach and Hertha Berlin in the field for the Telekom Cup.

Two semifinals, a match for third place and the final. However, a game takes only 45 minutes. In a draw is immediately passed on penalties.

Dortmund wants a player swap with Chelsea (The Sportsman)

Two players that Bayern has been linked to are now reportedly being talked about as part of a player swap. Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic and Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi are allegedly being discussed as part of a trade deal by the clubs.

In one of the more surprising transfer rumours of the festive season, Borussia Dortmund are allegedly willing to let American international Christian Pulisic leave in a bid to tempt Chelsea to part with their highly-rated youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Metro reports that talks have already begun between the two clubs with Dortmund desperate to land 18-year-old winger Hudson-Odoi who is frustrated by the lack of first-team opportunities under Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea. The former Napoli boss has given the player just two starts and Hudson-Odoi has noted the success of fellow Chelsea loanee Reiss Nelson and former Manchester City and England starlet Jadon Sancho in the German top flight.

News of Pulisic’s availability could alert the likes of Bayern Munich and Liverpool as both clubs have been linked with a move for him in the past. Hudson-Odoi is also wanted by Bayern who face the prospect of losing two of their star players Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben in the summer and are on the lookout for potential replacements.
