Karl Heinz-Rummenigge touts Xabi Alonso as future manager (AS)

The Bayern Munich CEO think his former midfielder, Xabi Alonso, is manager material as reported by kicker and captured by AS.

I hope that one day he returns to Bayern Munich. Xabi radiates a natural authority, he had fantastic coaches and he speaks several languages. He is an extraordinary person. He was a general on the pitch and all the players followed him. The ball was drawn to him and he distributed it as if by magic. He could slow the play down or speed it up. Xabi thought quickly and played quickly.

Robert Lewandowski talks holidays ( sat down with Robert Lewandowski and the team’s star striker talked over how he was going to celebrate the holidays.

The whole family meet for two or three days in Poland. My family, my mother, my wife’s family, my sister’s family. About 15 persons. We decide where we meet every year. My wife prepares everything. The time is very important to me because I haven’t lived in Poland for a long time, I don’t return home often. I enjoy every second with my family.

Lewandowski also hit on how the experience has changed for him now that he is a father.

The more mature you are, the better you understand how important it is to spend time with the family. To see everybody again, to talk, to celebrate and enjoy the time. Everything’s going very fast in the world today, and sometimes you have to press the stop button. Christmas is something very special.

In addition, Lewandowski touched on his favorite childhood memories of Christmas. For the whole interview, click here.
