After winning their group, FC Bayern Munich can expect a nice payday. TZ reports that the current total is up to €37.75 million. This is higher than any of the other German clubs can expect. Their totals so far are (in million): Borussia Dortmund €33.75, Schalke €32.65, and Hoffenheim €17.95.
All 32 teams that make it to the Champions League group stage earn a premium of €15.25 million to begin. The winner of each game earns €2.7 million, while a draw earns each team €900,000. The remaining €900,000 is put into a pool and is divided among all 32 teams. This year, the 32 teams will split €24.9 million from the draws.
From here on out, the premiums only get bigger. Each team making it out of the Round of 16 will earn €9.5 million. If Bayern continues to move forward in the Champions League, they could bring in a total surpassing €100 million!
