Bayer Munich can allegedly get Inter Milan’s 29-year old, Croatian winger Ivan Perišić for €50 million next summer.

There is more to Ivan Perisic’s recent comments with regards to a future away from Inter according to a report from FCInterNews.it. The Croatian winger recently shared his dream of playing in the Premier League and his agent is understood to have some offers on the table from foreign clubs, namely Bayern Munich, while the road leading to Manchester United is not completely blocked off either.

As per the report, in all likelihood Perisic will remain with Inter at least until the end of the season due to the difficulty of selling him in January and finding a suitable replacement. In any case though, until any interested party meets Inter’s €50 million valuation of him, he will be going nowhere. Perisic joined Inter from Wolfsburg back in 2015 and has went on to make 135 appearances in Nerazzurri, 17 of which have come this season which have seen him produce two goals and tally the same amount of assists.

Bayern at Werder Bremen: A Prediction (Bavarian Football Works)

After a rather awful spell, things look like they may finally be heading in the right direction in Bavaria. Offensively, Bayern has looked like a different animal over the past two games. With Thomas Muller, Arjen Robben, and Robert Lewandowski accounting for six the eight goals Bayern scored against Fortuna Düsseldorf and Benfica, Niko Kovač’s crew may finally be settling in a bit. In addition, the potential returns of Thiago Alcantara and Kingsley Coman - even in limited duty - could be yet another boost.

Defensively, there are still some question marks when it comes to positioning and awareness, but with the talent residing on the back line it should only be a matter of time before things gets straightened out. In addition, Manuel Neuer looked as solid as any time in recent memory against Benfica, which could be a good sign in terms of the confidence and instinctual play that the goalkeeper displayed.

Werder Bremen will absolutely try to play Bayern tough and challenge Die Roten much in the way that some others have, by trying to trade blows with the Bavarian giants. Maximilian Eggestein and Max Kruse are the two offensive players to watch on Bremen, which is not afraid to throw out some crazy player combinations in hopes of generating offense. It will also be interesting to see if Marco Freidl takes the field as the loanee has not quite seen a ton of playing time with Werder Bremen this season.

Unfortunately for Die Werderaner, they won’t quite have the knockout power to hang in this bout.

Prediction: Bayern Munich 3, Werder Bremen 0
