Benfica’s Haris Seferović praises Niko Kovač (Bild)
Haris Seferović played for Niko Kovač at Eintracht Frankfurt from March 2016 to July 2017 and thinks the Bayern Munich coach will prove his mettle in Bavaria.
I wish him this with all my heart, because I know from Frankfurt what he does and how he works. He is a guy who gets his way. I believe in Niko! If he wants something, then he fights until he gets it! He then does not look left and right, just straight ahead.
Meanwhile, Kovač is seeking to guide his squad back to better performances in the Bundesliga as the Bavarians will do battle with Werder Bremen. Bremen has Bayern loanee Marco Friedl rostered, though the outside back has not garnered much playing time.

Thorgan Hazard wins award and “weirdest trophy” (@borussia_en)
The “weirdest trophy” appears to be a scaled down version of the Manneken Pis statue in Brussels....which also appears on the label of my favorite beer, Blanche de Bruxelles.
Belgium's best export? Not beer. Not chocolate. It's a Foal @HazardThorgan8 was voted October 2018's Best Foreign-Based Player by Belgian fans! Also, the trophy for weirdest trophy goes to... #DieFohlen pic.twitter.com/J7pTuvxh52

Marco Rose as the next Hoffenheim coach? (@dw_sports)
RB Salzburg coach Marco Rose has worked wonders with his squad and that effort is gaining him bigger suitors, including Hoffenheim apparently. Hoffenheim’s current coach Julian Nagelsmann, of course, is leaving after the season to take over RB Leipzig.
According to reports in Germany, RB Salzburg coach Marco Rose has received a contract offer from Hoffenheim.
