Another potentially serious blow for the struggling Rekordmeister: Bayern Munich announced prior to their match against Fortuna Düsseldorf that their key forward, Serge Gnabry, could not play on account of an unspecified adductor injury.

Gnabry had played oustandingly for Germany during the November international break, scoring Germany’s third goal against Russia and registering an assist against the Netherlands.
Gnabry had already returned to Munich earlier in the week. He was seen at team training just two days ago, on Thursday. It is possible that he injured himself then.
It was noticed that Bayern II star Woo-Yeong Jeong did not appear on the team’s roster in their 1-1 draw against FC Pipinsried. The speculation that he might join the first team today has proven correct: Jeong made the team and could potentially play.
Arjen Robben is also fit and available. Niko Kovac will start Franck Ribery and Thomas Müller on the left and right wing respectively.
