We have some some crazy antics from Jogi Löw before, but now the Germany coach is getting extreme with Die Mannschaft’s lineup for its friendly against Russia.
Löw released a lineup that is curious to say the least. Granted, this friendly means nothing, but this may represent one of Low’s most peculiar lineups ever.

There are six (!?) defenders in the lineup...against Russia. Well, at least six players who have primarily played defensive positions for their club teams. I don’t know whether this is right or wrong...I’m just confused!
Here is my best guess at how this will all work out:

It is interesting to say the least, but it is not what many expected to see today. Again, the game means absolutely nothing and serves no purpose other than to try and assess some players on the roster, so I guess it’s worth a shot. (Maybe? Possibly?)
Okay, buckle up...let’s see how this goes.
Bayern Munich’s Niklas Süle, Joshua Kimmich, Serge Gnabry, and Manuel Neuer are all featuring for Germany today.
(Predicting coast-to-coast Süle makes a triumphant return and scores)
