We’re back on the trail of the three Bayern Munich players on on loan to start the 2018-19 Bundesliga season. Marco Friedl and Timothy Tillman are playing this season with Bundesliga clubs Werder Bremen and Nürnberg, while Adrian Fein is in the 2.Bundesliga with Jahn Regensburg.
Marco Friedl - Werder Bremen
Marco Friedl made the bench but didn’t see the field in Werder Bremen’s 3-1 loss to Borussia Mönchengladbach. The loss drops Werder into 7th place in the table. It’s hard to see Friedl breaking into that starting lineup this season.
Friedl’s loan with Werder ends in June 2019.
Timothy Tillman - Nürnberg
Timothy Tillman didn’t play for Nürnberg in their 2-0 loss to Stuttgart. They are now in 15th place on ten points, just two points ahead of Stuttgart who are sitting on the bottom of the tale. Tillman also didn’t suit up for Nürnberg’s reserve side in the Regionalliga; however, they may have to do more with the fact that they played Bayern II (to a 0-0) draw.
Tillman’s loan with Nürnberg ends in June 2019.
Adrian Fein - Jahn Regensburg (2.Bundesliga Matchday 13)
Adrian Fein started and went 66 minutes in Jahn Regensburg’s 3-2 victory over Magdeburg. It wasn’t one of Fein’s best performances this season, but he was due one of them at this point. The win moves Regensburg moves into 6th in the table. They haven’t lost in their last eight matches and snapped a streak of four straight draws in this one.
Fein’s loan with Jahn Regensburg ends in June 2019.
