After a barren spell, Robert Lewandowski is starting to heat up. With three goals and an assist in his last two games, the Polish striker is looking very, very dangerous for Die Roten.
The Polish international sat down with Sport Bild to talk over his comfort level in Bavaria and how the team concept is more important than any individual goals he may have.
I am used to always being under pressure and playing at the highest level. That’s what the club demands of me, and I also demand that of myself. I can handle it. I definitely feel very happy and well in Munich. I do my best for the team to win. But it’s still about the team, because everyone works hard for success here. It’s not just about me, not just about Robert Lewandowski.
With Lewandowski looking more and more dangerous, it has appears that he is embracing the pressure to perform and the attention he draws from the opposition. Lewandowski has looked very motivated of late and this could be a very good stretch of play upcoming for the ever-dangerous striker.
