Second half: Starke - Götze, Martinez, Mai, Bernat - Rudy, Dorsch - Ribery, Shabani, Friedl - Müller
Plenty of credit is due for Sascha Hildmann and his Großaspach side, who showed no fear going forward against Bayerm, especially in the first half. After going 1-0 down through Coman’s goal in the 33rd minute, Großaspach responded and were well rewarded when Sane converted a penalty in the 40th minute to put things level.
The second half brought about a plethora of goals for the 5,000 fans inside the Allianz Arena. Müller struck first in the 50th minute shortly after Großaspach’s Meritan Shabani hit the crossbar with a headed effort. Sohm equalized just six minutes later for the visitors with a finely-struck 35 yard effort, catching Tom Starke slightly off of his line.
The strike from Sohm served as Bayern’s cue to tidy up their play. Franck Ribery took the initiative, going on to score three goals within a span of 12 minutes, the second two of which (63’, 71’) came after Mario Rodriguez had pegged one back for the visitors with a finely taken left-footed strike.
