New season, new group stage. Bayern Munich can’t draw Arsenal this time, so it promises to be at least slightly interesting. We can draw anything from Barcelona to a team you’ve never heard of. As always, teams from the same association cannot be drawn together, so Bayern cannot be drawn with fellow Bundesliga teams Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.
Here are the pots, with particularly dangerous teams highlighted. Bayern Munich is in Pot 1, so we cannot draw the champions from any other league.
