After Thiago Alcantara returned from injury a few days ago, Bayern Munich have once again been bolstered as goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and defender Javi Martinez both resumed team training. Neuer returns from a long spell on the sidelines, caused by a foot injury he sustained in the Bavarians’ Champions league quarter final bout with Real Madrid. Javi meanwhile returns from a far shorter injury spell, having sustained a knock in Bayern’s DFL Supercup win over Borussia Dortmund.

Arjen Robben also resumed training without any difficulty. The Dutchman had to call it quits early on Saturday after an injury scare during training. Luckily it turned out to just be a precautionary measure.
As Bayern finally build up something resembling a healthy squad, only Jerome Boateng and James Rodriguez remain sidelined due to injuries.
