It almost feels inevitable these days.

There are only three things certain in life - death, taxes, and Arjen Robben getting injured. After having just completed a comeback to the team, the Dutch winger had to call it quits in a training session on Saturday [via kicker]. The winger had only played half and hour of football the night before, having been subbed on for Thomas Muller at around the hour mark.

Here’s a video of him allegedly going down:

The extent of the injury is not known, but it comes at a bad time for Bayern Munich, especially with with former Real Madrid man James Rodriguez sidelined for an undefined period of time with a thigh injury. The Bavarians have an extensive injury list already - Javi Martinez, Jerome Boateng, Thiago Alcantara, and Juan Bernat all remain sidelined due to various issues. It is hoped that the injury is nothing serious, and the training session was cut short as a precautionary measure.
