Renato Sanches has gained another suitor in Premier League champion Chelsea, according to Gazzetta dello Sport in Italy.

While Bayern Munich chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has made it clear that Sanches is not for sale, his loan seems somewhat imminent:

“If he goes, it will only be for a one-year loan. We are still convinced he can be a good player for Bayern. ... I had a long conversation with Renato in Singapore to know his thoughts. He doesn't want to go, but he wants to play.”

Rummenigge continued in his public discussion of the potential move this week, stating that: "There are at least 10 teams after Sanches.” The increase in teams includes the interest from Chelsea. Chelsea’s interest could be attributed to Sanches’ stellar performance against the Blues in Bayern’s 3-2 victory in their preseason matchup just days ago.

The potential for a move is good news for Sanches, who’s growth hasn’t necessarily been stunted in his time at Bayern, but he hasn’t received the necessary minutes he needs to properly develop. Sanches made only 25 appearances for Bayern last season.

His talent and skill at such a young age, properly developed, could lead to many promising and prosperous years at the helm of the Bayern midfield.

A short loan would be perfect for his development, now Bayern just have to decide which of the 10 teams to entrust their precious prospect to.
