Bayern Munich will begin the quest for its sixth straight Bundesliga title when it opens the 2017-18 season Aug. 18 at home versus Bayer Leverkusen, as Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL) released the fixture list for the 55th Bundesliga season.
Matchdays 10 and 11 will give Bayern back-to-back tests as it plays host to last season's runners-up RB Leipzig (Oct. 27-29), and one week later the season’s first edition of Der Klassiker will be at Borussia Dortmund (Nov. 3-5).
Bayern will finish the first half of the season at home to VfB Stuttgart (Dec. 15-17), and will finish the season overall playing host to Die Schwaben.
The season-long fixture list does not have match times yet, with the exception of Bayern’s opener. Match times for the first half of the season will be announced the week of July 10. The times for remaining matchdays will follow over the course of the season, taking into account the clubs in European competitions and DFB-Pokal.
