French newspaper L’Equipe reports that Bayern Munich is prepared to bid €50 million for Atlético Madrid and Belgium winger Yannick Carrasco, whose potential move could end any pursuit of Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez.

Carrasco’s addition would also be Bayern’s second young, dynamic attacking player added to books this offseason, following Corentin Tolisso’s recent move from Lyon for a Bundesliga-record fee of €41.5 million.
Sport Bild added to the L’Equipe report that Sanchez’s reported wage demands of €25 million per season has cooled, if not iced, Bayern’s interest in Sanchez.

Carrasco’s acquisition could be complicated by Atlético’s transfer ban, which is in place until January 2018 and would prevent the club from replacing Carrasco until then.
