Bayern Munich and Darmstadt will take the field at the Allianz Arena on Saturday as Bayern embark on three meaningless matches as they have already sealed their fifth straight Bundesliga title.

Well, let’s not necessarily call these matchups meaningless. We have the imminent retirements of one Philipp Lahm and one Xabi Alonso to deal with in the coming weeks. While one will be more impactful than the other for Bayern supporters across the world, the sport is losing two great men and great ambassadors for the game. We must celebrate their greatness.

That’s why I think the best way to send these two legends out of the game is with three goalfests. Let the two icons play every minute of these games. Well, except for their farewell substitution in game three, so they can receive the raucous standing ovation.

We asked three of our writers to predict what lineup Ancelotti will play against Darmstadt.
