It’s time for me to walk away.

I made the decision back in January that the current season would be my last at Bavarian Football Works. After more than four wonderful years, it’s time for me to join Philipp Lahm and Xabi Alonso as we step aside to let others shine.

I wanted to let everyone know with a few games left, so that we can celebrate these final three meaningless fixtures together. As of now, I don’t know exactly who will be replacing me, but I trust the SBN bigwigs to get it all sorted. You’ll still have your BFW. It just might be a little different.

I’ll wait until the season’s end to officially say all of my goodbyes, but for now, let’s gear up to end this season with three big victories as we send a pair of legends off into retirement.
