Jersey Swap: Timo Werner. He had two goals on the game and was the most consistent attacking presence for RB Leipzig. If he isn’t getting more attention for a national team spot by Jogi Low, he most certainly will after this match.

Tip Of The Cap: Juan Bernat. Playing a wing back for this game, Juan Bernat did his job and did it well throughout the match which is more than can be said for some of his defensive counterparts. He had over 90% passing on the game, and maintained possession while interplaying well on the left side along with Franck Ribery.

Golf Clap: Thiago Alcantara. I’m probably going to get some flack for this one, but Thiago played a strong game from box to box which is what you’d come to expect from the Spaniard. Led the team in tackles, and passes, including a perfect eight for eight on long balls.

Standing Ovation: Arjen Robben. The skill was on display once again, if not the finishing results that he would have liked for most of the match. The speed, the cutting ability, the dribbling, all there. And right at the very end, when Bayern were set to finish with a draw, we saw the deadly shot that he had sheathed away in one of the most dramatic goals for Bayern this entire season.

Meister Of The Match: Robert Lewandowski. The Bundesliga’s leading goal scorer (no jinx) finished with two more goals to put him at 30 for the season. This total could have been even higher as Big Shot Bob hit a post, had another goal called back for offside and saw another attempt drift just wide of the woodwork.
