Before the world had the opportunity to adjust to Bayern Munich’s early 1-0 lead in Der Klassiker, Borussia Dortmund conceded again.

Not wanting to give Franck Ribery any space after his opening goal, Marc Bartra pressured Ribery a little too much, bringing him down at the top of the box. With a lot of options on the field for the free kick, the Bayern players allowed Robert Lewandowski to take the kick.

He made the most of out it.

While it wasn’t a perfect strike by any means, Lewandowski got the ball over the wall and into the back of the net to give Bayern the 2-0 lead after only nine minutes.

Lewandowski’s goal is his 25th on the season, pulling him level with Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the top of the league scoring charts.
