For Bayern Munich, this game is going to revolve around Thiago. With Vidal and Alonso controlling the midfield for Bayern, he will need to be the effective pivot point to get Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben attacking the Dortmund backline.
Luckily, with that attacking trio there is more than enough attacking acumen and ability to thread the needle Bayern should be able to break Dortmund’s backline as long as they can break the hold of Weigl and Castro in defensive midfield.
On defense, Bayern are going to struggle.
