Aubameyang, Dembele score back-to-back goals to put Dortmund on top of Bayern

Not nice.

After numerous wasted opportunities to put the game out of reach — seriously, it could’ve been 5-1 — Bayern Munich were finally punished for their profligacy in front of the Borussia Dortmund goal.

Double whammy.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ousmane Dembele scored goals within five minutes of each other to put Bayern against the sword. In the blink of an eye, Bayern were staring at a two goal deficit.

Javi Martinez and Philipp Lahm lost track of Aubameyang in the penalty area, and he easily tapped in the headed equalizer.

Dembele’s shot left Sven Ulreich with absolutely zero chance at making the save. How he gets this much time in the box is shocking.

Pressure is mounting.
