Wednesday night in the Allianz Arena, two big clubs meet for a berth in the DFB Pokal Final. It’s been dubbed the “Der Klassiker” in this decade, and it usually propels the winner to a title. This, folks, is Bayern Munich vs. Borussia Dortmund.

Both sides are facing injuries heading into match. Bayern may be without David Alaba, and Dortmund might not have Sokratis Papastathopoulos. Nuri Sahin will definitely not be available.

Both teams crashed out of the Champions League quarterfinals, and while Bayern have the league title in their sites, Dortmund understand quite well that this is their only shot at a trophy this season.

The winner will travel to the Olympiastadion in Berlin on May 27 where they will play Eintracht Frankfurt, who beat Borussia Mönchengladbach on penalties on Tuesday.
