Get ready for some Juan Bernat.

Bayern Munich are likely to have three of their four injured defenders prepped and ready to go when the lineup is announced for Wednesday’s DFB Pokal Semifinal against Borussia Dortmund. The one questions mark: David Alaba.

“David Alaba has had some problems in training,” Ancelotti said. “We'll see if he can make it tomorrow."

If Alaba cant go, there’s nowhere else for Ancelotti to turn than to Juan Bernat. The Spaniard has rebounded this year following his relatively poor 2015-16 and has looked solid in most if not all of his appearances. If Bernat gets the green light, Bayern’s success could hinge on his ability to link up with his left winger, whether it’s Franck Ribery or Douglas Costa.

Ancelotti announced that Jerome Boateng, Mats Hummels, and Javi Martinez were all prepped and ready to go for Wednesday. However, it is hard to see Ancelotti starting all three of them unless something terrible happens. He will only choose two, and we could very well be looking at the Hummels and Boateng partnership.
