The first semifinal of the 2016-17 DFB Pokal kicks off on Tuesday when Eintracht Frankfurt make the trip to take on Borussia Mönchengladbach. It’s a battle between two teams still fighting for their spot in next season’s Europa League
This is a pretty even matchup, and the difference will probably be made by the home crowd. The Gladbach faithful will be in full voice with the hopes of sending their club back to their first DFB Pokal Final since 1995.
It’s been a while.
The winner will travel to the Olympiastadion on Berlin on May 27 where they will play either Bayern Munich or Borussia Dortmund.
