After a succession of attacks, Bayern Munich landed an easy corner kick. Thiago Alcantara’s brilliant outswinger was perfect for Arturo Vidal who easily bested Nacho Fernandez to thundering a header over the head of a dumdstruck Keylor Navas.
It was the perfect turning point for Bayern so far. They dominated early play but in recent minutes Real Madrid had come to bring some influence to bear on the match. Arturo Vidal showed them that was not going to happen.
