It’s time for Bayern Munich and Real Madrid to due battle on the field of the immortals. It’s time for the UEFA Champions League Quarterfinals. Can you feel it in the air? It’s time for the adults to enter the field, and the children to leave.
This is a huge match for Bayern Munich. In the past few seasons, their biggest Champions League ties have all seen the Bavarians hit the road in the first leg. Getting a match at the Allianz Arena first gives Bayern a chance to put their stamp on the matches first.
Injuries have forced Mats Hummels out of the match and have hobbled Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Müller, and Manuel Neuer. Real Madrid also have their fair share of injuries heading into the match, so it will be interesting to see if Bayern can capitalize early.
It’s the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League against Real Madrid. If you’re not pumped up for this, BFW can’t help you.
It’s Bayern time.
