Before Bayern Munich depart Germany for England next week for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie against Arsenal, they must travel to Köln for what could very well be a trap game. If the Bavarians aren’t fully focused on Köln, this could slip through their fingers.
The biggest question for Carlo Ancelotti is who he puts at centerback next to Javi Martinez. With reports that Mats Hummels may be unavailable with an injury, Ancelotti may have to turn to David Alaba or Joshua Kimmich to the centerback role.
The other area on the field of biggest concern is in the attacking midfield. With Franck Ribery ready to get back on the field for Bayern, does Ancelotti give him the run out from the beginning of the match?
We asked three of our writers to predict what lineup Ancelotti will play against Köln.
