Bayern Munich’s Thomas Müller and Robert Lewandowski found the back of the net for their respective countries on Sunday. Both Germany and Poland won their World Cup Qualifiers to solidify their spots at the top of their groups.

Just a few minutes after Azerbaijan found an equalizer, Müller managed to break the deadlock with a nice goal. Müller rounded the goalkeeper and finished with his second touch to put Germany on top, and they wouldn’t look back.

The goal that Germany conceded in this match was the first that they’ve conceded in all of Qualifying thus far. The Germans have fifteen points out of five matches and are well on their way to booking their spot in Russia.

Lewandowski scored a great free kick for Poland to give them the lead. While Montenegro would equalize in the second half. Poland did eventually find the winner to take all three points.

Poland top their qualifying group with thirteen points out of five matches. They’re six points ahead of second place Montenegro.
