Just a few minutes after Azerbaijan found an equalizer, Müller managed to break the deadlock with a nice goal. Müller rounded the goalkeeper and finished with his second touch to put Germany on top, and they wouldn’t look back.
The goal that Germany conceded in this match was the first that they’ve conceded in all of Qualifying thus far. The Germans have fifteen points out of five matches and are well on their way to booking their spot in Russia.
