Bayern Munich have officially opened their office in Shanghai, China. The club was represented on site by CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, board member Jörg Wacker, and brand ambassadors Giovane Elber and Bixente Lizarazu. This is the second international office that Bayern have opened following their extremely successful venture in New York City.
“After opening our US office, we're delighted to establish our second permanent presence here in Shanghai,” Rummenigge said. “This allows us to intensify our contact with the fans, with clubs, with associations and other institutions. We've had nothing but wonderful experiences on our previous trips to China, and we've felt the high esteem our club enjoys here.”

Bayern are officially worldwide now.
This summer, as part of the Audi Summer Tour 2017 and the International Champions Cup, Bayern will travel to China and Singapore for four friendlies against Chelsea, Arsenal, Milan, and Inter.
While Barcelona have followed in Bayern’s footsteps in opening an office in NYC, Bayern are well ahead of their European counterparts in opening an office in China.
