Bayern Munich will travel to China and Singapore as part of the Audi Summer Tour 2017. The Bavarians will be taking part in two separate friendly events while they’re in Asia: the Audi Football Summit and the International Champions Cup.

As part of the Audi Football Summit, Bayern will be taking on Arsenal in Shanghai on July 19 and Milan in Shenzhen on July 22. The International Champions Cup will see Bayern face Chelsea on July 25 and Inter on July 27th. Both matches are set to be played in Singapore.

"The Audi Summer Tour is an integral part of our international strategy, supporting our global brand development. There are about 135 million FC Bayern fans in China, and the club is becoming more and more popular in Southeast Asia,” Jörg Wacker, Bayern’s head of internationalization and strategy, said. “So I'm glad we'll play in Shanghai and Shenzhen under the motto 'Visiting Friends' and present our team in July. We're equally looking forward to the top-class matches in front of many Bayern fans from the whole of Southeast Asia in Singapore.”

This is Bayern’s third trip to China in the last five years. They recently visited in 2015 as the club were in the infant stages of planning to launch an office in China. That office became official in September when it opened in Shanghai.
