Bayern Munich have learned their fate for the quarterfinal draw of the 2016-17 DFB-Pokal, hosting Schalke on March 1st. These two teams played against each other at the Allianz Arena last Saturday where they battled to a 1-1 draw.

Carlo Ancelotti's Bayern knocked out Wolfsburg on Tuesday thanks to a goal from Douglas Costa, but will likely have a tougher time going through Holger Badstuber and The Royal Blues when the club continues its cup title defense this season.

Elsewhere in the draw, Borussia Dortmund has been drawn away against 3.Liga side Sportfreunde Lotte, while Hamburg hosts  Borussia Mönchengladbach. Eintracht Frankfurt welcomes the lone remaining 2. Bundesliga side Arminia Bielefeld to the Commerzbank-Arena.

The final will be played at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on May 27.
