Thomas Müller is somewhere between a boisterous child and the class clown every time he gives an interview. Normally, those interviews happen while he’s scoring, assisting and generally being one of the greatest players in the world. This season has been a little more frustrating for the striker. Luckily Mats Hummels is here to remind Thomas Müller of how things are done on the funnier side of life.
When asked in an interview with the DFB whether practicing against him had prepared Müller, Hummels couldn’t help but poke fun, saying
“Yeah, probably. That's why I take responsibility for at least 80% of his goal. In all seriousness: we all know that Thomas can score goals and assist, that he is dangerous. Some more goals will follow." - DFB
Bravo Mats. Now step it up in practice and make sure that you can leave the jokes to Thomas Müller next time.
