The biggest game of the season to date takes place on Wednesday afternoon at the Allianz Arena. Bayern Munich host Arsenal in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie. All eyes are on the Gunners, as another early exit could doom what they thought would’ve been a promising campaign.

For Bayern, this is an opportunity to put the poor start to the second half of the season behind them. The goal is very simple: score goals and prevent Arsenal from scoring any. Bayern has struggled over the last month against not-so-impressive teams, and Arsenal will be hoping to grab a major upset on Wednesday.

Where will the goals come from for Carlo Anceotti’s club? The wingers will need to be busy, if Bayern are to have any chance at coming out of this leg with a solid advantage. We’re likely to see Douglas Costa and Arjen Robben on opposite flanks, and both have shown a propensity over time to challenge goalkeepers from distance. This should be a fun one.

It’s Bayern time.
