Finally, after what has seemed like a millennia, the Champions League returns to the Allianz Arena on Wednesday when Arsenal comes to town. It’s a familiar foe for Bayern Munich fans, and it’s a foe that is looking for revenge.

Carlo Ancelotti will have his best eleven on the field, minus Jerome Boateng. The squad is healthy and ready for action, and he has many choices to make. The formation that he deems necessary to start the match will greatly determine which players make the eleven.

Is it going to be more important for Bayern to boost the midfield for the match or go for the goals early in the match? That could spell the difference between Thiago Alcantara and Thomas Müller on the field.

We asked three of our writers to predict what lineup Ancelotti will play against Arsenal.
