Report: Julian Nagelsmann tipped for Dortmund post for 2018-19 season

Reported (ad nauseam) Bayern Munich coach-in-waiting Julian Nagelsmann reportedly is being sought by Borussia Dortmund as its coach-in-waiting as well.

Our SB Nation Bundesliga brothers at Fear The Wall report (via German outlet SZ) that Nagelsmann, who while coaching at Hoffenheim has been rumored off to Bayern Munich — every single day — for the 2018-19 season, until now when a report said he has agreed to coach Dortmund ... starting next season.

So Dortmund has had a weekend where it sacked Peter Bosz after a terrible run of results, appointed Peter Stoger for the remainder of the season to arrest the slide down the table and reportedly Nagelsmann will arrive to coach next season. That’s a lot to process.

Adding Dortmund into the equation when it comes to potential coaching candidates for next season at Bayern (Jupp Heynckes will not extend his fourth and final stint with the club) complicates that process, too.
