Germany was drawn into Group F for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia next summer and it will face Mexico, Sweden and South Korea.
According to WhoScored.com, Germany has the fourth-easiest group based on the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking in October 2017. Germany is ranked first by FIFA, followed by Mexico (16), Sweden (18) and South Korea (59) for an average ranking of 23.5 in Group F.
Of note to Bayern Munich supporters, Robert Lewandowski’s Poland and Colombia, led by James Rodriguez, were drawn into Group H and will open the competition against each other.
