James Rodriguez out with apparent back injury

The Colombian will miss DFB-Pokal clash at RB Leipzig

Bayern Munich and Colombia playmaker James Rodriguez reportedly has a back injury and did not travel with the team for its DFB-Pokal match at RB Leipzig on Wednesday.

James seemed poised for a larger, more consistent role with the injury to Thomas Muller, who ironically was injured after replacing James during last week’s Bundesliga match at Hamburg.

The club has not yet released anything official about the injury.
