Bayern Munich are back in action in today’s Bundesliga match against Werder Bremen. The Bavarians travel north to take o Werder Bremen in the “real” start of the second half of the season. Heavy favorites following their win to open the season, Bayern will try to turn that expectation into three points.
With injured players rounding back into shape ahead of the upcoming UEFA Champions League clash against Arsenal, Bayern still have a near full roster at their disposal against Werder. Carlo Ancelotti is likely to play a full strength squad, as any slip-up would allow RB Leipzig to jump right back into play at the top of the table.
Ancelotti has been playing an either/or game with Douglas Costa and Franck Ribery as Arjen Robben’s partner on opposite flanks. Who will start between Costa and Ribery? We’ll find out shortly.
It’s Bayern time.
